NetsBlox - How to sign up and sign in

In order to save your projects or play multiplayer games, you need to have a NetsBlox account.

Navigate to the NetsBlox home page: https://netsblox.org/ and open the editor by clicking “Try Now” at the top left of the page.

From here, click the cloud icon near the top left of the page.

From here you’ll see “Login…”, for signing into an existing NetsBlox account, “Login with Snap!...” for signing in with an existing Snap! account, and “Signup...” We will continue by assuming you want to sign up and create a new NetsBlox account.

This will open the account creation dialogue. Simply fill in the required information. Note that if you are a minor, you will be asked to enter the email address of your parent or guardian. Your birthdate is not saved in our system.

Next, check the box saying you agree to the terms of service, and hit OK. This will send a temporary password to your (or your guardian’s) email address. If you can't find the email from NetsBlox, make sure to check your email's spam folder. If you still cannot find it, email vdn@vanderbilt.edu

Next, select the “Login…” option from the cloud icon menu shown previously and sign in with your username and the temporary password from the email.

Once logged in, click the cloud icon again and select the “Change Password…” option.

Simply enter your old (temporary) password, set your desired (new) password twice, and hit OK.
