Panagiotis Tsiotras joined the faculty of the School of Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1998 as an Associate Professor. He has held visiting appointments with INRIA, Rocquencourt, the Laboratoire d' Automatique de Grenoble, and the Ecole des Mines de Paris in France. He has published over 250 journal and conference papers in the areas of astrodynamics, optimal and nonlinear control, and dynamics and control of mechanical and aerospace systems. His current research interests include analysis and control of autonomous and semi-autonomous ground, aerial and space vehicles. Dr. Tsiotras is a recipient of the NSF CAREER award, the Sigma Xi President and Visitor's Award for Excellence in Research as well as numerous fellowships and scholarships. He is a Fellow of the AIAA, and a Senior Member of the IEEE.
