Sending out sensitive information via unapproved channels and apps

A recent global survey found that 30% of workers have been called out by their managers for sending out sensitive business information via unofficial channels like IM and collaboration apps like Zoom.

Everything from corporate passwords, client data, business plans have been shared in these non-approved channels and could impact IT compliance mandates.  If companies take control of messaging apps and collaboration tools, they have better opportunities to prevent cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
