In conjunction with XPONENTIAL 2016, that will be held in New Orleans, LA, during May 2-5, 2016, a student poster session on "Unmanned Aircraft Systems" is being organized. This session will be part of the Innovation Hub at XPONENTIAL along with other special interest sessions and product exhibitions.

Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to submit posters showcasing their research in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and related disciplines. Students whose posters are selected for presentation will be provided financial support up to $1000 to attend this event.

The topics for the poster session include, but are not limited to the following: models for mobility, connectivity, and coverage; cyber-physical system perspective of UAS; airborne/satellite communication and networking platforms and strategies; ad hoc routing protocols; security protocols (authentication, and integrity verification of communicating agents); swarming, collaboration, and self-organization; network trials, test-beds, experiments, and measurements; and applications of airborne networking in real world domains such as air-traffic control, search and rescue missions, and unmanned cargo.

Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate students who are working in the general area of UAS control, networking and communications and related disciplines in any academic institution in the Unites States or abroad.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on the novelty and quality of research.

Important Dates: Submissions will be accepted until March 31st, 2016. Selections will be announced on April 10th, 2016.
