Is the program still being held?
Yes, in light of the situation with the global pandemic the internship program will be run remotely this year. Research groups will utilize various tools (Zoom, Slack, etc.) to collaboratively work on projects over the summer.
How long will the program run?
The program runs for 10 weeks with a start date of June 1st and end date of August 7th.
How will I be paid?
Payments are distributed bi-weekly via direct deposit.
Can I take a vacation?
Yes, with approval from your supervisor. For any vacation time taken, you will need to amend your end date to fulfill the 10 week obligation. E.g. If your start date is June 1st and you take a week of vacation time, your end date would be August 14th instead of August 7th.
Is the program binding? Am I required to participate if I am selected for the program?
Once an award offer has been made, the students are given a window of time to accept or decline. This time is meant to give students the opportunity to weigh all options that may be available to them for the summer.

In order to finalize your acceptance into the program, all interns must complete this intake webform by 11:59pm on Monday, April 20.
