CISE-SBE Workshop: Deconstructing the Universal Mind

The 2025 CISE-SBE Workshop entitled "Deconstructing the Universal Mind" will be held in person over two days, Thursday, June 12th, 2025 and Friday, June 13th, 2025. The Workshop will be fully in-person to invited attendees on the campus of The George Washington University on the third floor of the Media & Public Affairs (MPA) building located at 805 21st Street, N.W. 20052.

The goal of the workshop is to discuss cross-disciplinary approaches to universality and variability in the behavioral, neural, and cognitive sciences. Of particular interest is how to balance theory-building with situated models of development and behavior, and in the practical and methodological obstacles to making progress on these questions. The workshop will be organized around 90 minute symposia.

Remote participation will be available. Please register for the meeting here. The meeting Zoom link will be distributed to registered participants several days before the webinar.
