IEEE ISORC 2026

The 29th IEEE International Symposium on Real-Time Distributed Computing (ISORC 2026) will convene researchers and practitioners working in real-time and distributed computing systems.

Founded in 1998, ISORC is a single-track, single-blind conference focused on object-, component-, and service-oriented real-time distributed systems. The symposium fosters an engaged community exploring emerging challenges and innovations in critical real-time architectures.

2026 Theme

The Evolution of Architectures for Next Generation Critical Real-Time and Distributed Systems

The conference will explore advances in real-time distributed architectures across domains including automotive and aerospace E/E systems, smart grids, V2V/V2I systems, edge computing, AI/ML-enabled systems, cyber-physical systems, and dependable distributed infrastructures.

Submission Information

ISORC 2026 invites:

  • Regular Research Papers (up to 10 pages)

  • Industrial Papers and Practitioner Reports (up to 10 pages)

  • Short Papers (up to 6 pages; real-time analytics focus)

All accepted papers will be presented in person and published in IEEE proceedings (pending confirmation). At least one author per accepted paper must register.

Key Deadlines

  • Abstract Deadline: February 24, 2026 (11:59 PM AoE)

  • Paper Submission Deadline: March 3, 2026 (11:59 PM AoE)

  • Notification: March 24, 2026

  • Camera-Ready Due: April 4, 2026

  • Author Registration Deadline: March 31, 2026
