CPS-IoT Week 2026 Call for Hosting Proposals

CPS-IoT Week 2026 Call for Hosting Proposals

The Cyber-Physical Systems and Internet of Things (CPS-IoT) Week Steering Committee requests proposals to host the 2026 edition of this multi-conference event in Europe. CPS-IoT Week is a premier academic event focused on presenting recent research results and discussing future directions in CPS and IoT. It brings together top conferences HSCC, ICCPS, SenSys, and RTAS, as well as dozens of satellite events, such as poster and demo sessions, workshops, tutorials, competitions, industrial exhibitions, PhD forums, and summits. We strongly encourage proposals for physical meetings with online components.

The proposals will be considered in two phases. First, we call for brief expressions of interest that specify:

(1) The proposed location and dates of the conference, including the main conference days and workshop day(s).

(2) The key organizers, including who will serve as General Chair(s) and as Local Arrangements Chair(s).

Please e-mail your initial expression of interest to the CPS-IoT Week Steering Committee Chair, Chris Gill, at cdgill@wustl.edu by January 15th, 2025 at the latest.  He will then provide two templates for submitting a full proposal, which should be completed and sent back to him no later than March 15th, 2025:

(1) A spreadsheet for providing estimates of attendance counts, expected sponsorships, and costs for meeting spaces, food and beverages for attendees, audio visual support and any other expenses.  Numbers provided in the spreadsheet template are placeholders that should be replaced with estimates of expected counts, costs, etc.

(2) A slide deck for providing further information about the event, including the following additions:

(3) The organizers’ familiarity with CPS-IoT Week, and track records and experience organizing similar events.

(4) Proposed city information, including typical weather, air transportation options, visa requirements, and local natural and cultural attractions.

(5) Options for conference venues and facilities: university campus buildings, conventions centers, or hotels, and their respective capacities to host workshops, conferences, receptions, banquets, and other activities.

(6) Options for attendee lodging, including distance from event venues, expected costs per night, and options for transportation between lodging and event venues.

(7) A short description of local industry, research, and education communities related to CPS/IoT.

(8) A summary of the budget information including participant costs and potential sponsorships.

(9) Any additional information that may help the steering committee to make decisions.
