Please join us for the AAAI Spring Symposium Series, to be held March 24-26, 2014 at Stanford University. The Spring Symposium Series is designed to bring colleagues together in an intimate forum while at the same time providing a significant gathering point for the AI community. The two and one half day format of the series allows participants to devote considerably more time to feedback and discussion than typical one-day workshops.

The titles of the eight Spring Symposia are:

    * Applied Computational Game Theory
    * Big Data Becomes Personal: Knowledge into Meaning
    * Formal Verification and Modeling in Human-Machine Systems
    * Implementing Selves with Safe Motivational Systems and Self-Improvement
    * The Intersection of Robust Intelligence and Trust in Autonomous Systems
    * Knowledge Representation and Reasoning in Robotics
    * Qualitative Representations for Robots
    * Social Hacking and Cognitive Security on the Internet and New Media

Registration information and forms for the Spring Symposium are now available at http://www.aaai.org/Symposia/Spring/sss14.php. All accepted authors, symposium participants, and other invited attendees must register by February 7, 2014. Registration is also open to all AAAI members and other interested individuals, and all registrations should be submitted no later than February 28, 2014.

AAAI has reserved a small block of rooms at two Palo Alto hotels. The cut-off dates for reserving rooms at the discounted conference rates are March 1 (Cardinal Hotel) and March 3 (Creekside Inn).
