WOCO 2016
Date: Oct 18, 2016 12:00 am – Oct 20, 2016 12:00 pm
Location: Valencia, Spain
1st IFAC/IFIP Workshop on Computers and Control (WOCO 2016)
Sponsored and Organised by IFAC TC3.1 Technical Committee on Computers for Control Co-Sponsored by IFIP WG 10.5 Design and Engineering of Electronic Systems
WOCO 2016 is the first IFAC Workshop on Computer and Control following previous workshops organized by IFAC Technical Committee 3.3 as Workshop on Real-Time Programming (WRTP) and Algorithms and Architectures for Real-Time Control (AARTC) that were successfully organised during 30 editions.
WOCO 2016 aims at providing a critical survey of the current status of tools, methods, and technologies for elaborating software and complex systems for cyber-physical systems.
Particular emphasis will be laid on software & systems engineering approaches useful in defined, building, verifying today’s many safety critical system applications.
SCOPE
The scope of the workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in control and computers to explore innovative ideas and experiences the construction and use of cyber-physical and embedded systems.
The main topics of the workshop are focused on embedded and cyber-physical systems with emphasis in
- Mixed criticality systems
- Hardware and software architectures for real-time control
- Control techniques to computer systems
- Model-driven paradigm and modeling languages
- Verification & validation and certification
- Execution platforms including multi-core
- Virtualization and real-time operating systems
- Scheduling techniques
- Experiences and evaluation in safety critical applications as aerospace, automotive, industrial,
- Factory Automation 4.0
