Models have long been used in the engineering of software systems, but as computer based systems become larger, more complex and critical to human society, the importance of modeling in the software engineering lifecycle has rapidly grown. MODELS is the premier conference series for model-based software and systems engineering which since 1998 has been covering all aspects of modeling, from languages and methods to tools and applications.
In 2012 we will continue this tradition in the midst of Tyrol´s breathtaking scenary and stunning mountains. A university town, with a strong record of academic excellence and a vibrant student scene, Innsbruck combines tradition and splendour with modern facilities and attractions.
