SaTC Webcast

Date: Dec 02, 2011

The CISE, MPS, OCI and SBE communities held a webinar that provided an overview of the new Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace (SATC) program.

Cybersecurity is an important challenge in today's world: corporations, agencies, national infrastructure and individuals have been victims of cyber-attacks. Addressing this problem requires multi-disciplinary expertise in human, statistical, mathematical, computational, and computer sciences and ultimately the transition of new concepts and technologies to practice. With this in mind, the new SaTC program spans the directorates of Computer & Information Science & Engineering, Social, Behavioral & Economic Sciences, Mathematical & Physical Sciences, and Office of Cyberinfrastructure.

The main purpose of this webinar was to help researchers interested in cybersecurity to understand the opportunities given by this new program.

The webinar was held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 1 PM EST.
