Asu Ozdaglar Appointed Director of LIDS at MIT

September 24, 2014 - Asuman Ozdaglar, FORCES researcher and Professor in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT, has been appointed the next Director of the Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems (LIDS). Professor Ozdaglar is known nationally and internationally for her work and has won numerous awards. She is also a dedicated teacher who has mentored Ph.D. and postdoc students, introduced two new subjects in the areas of Game Theory and Networks, and has helped teach and revise many existing courses in systems and optimization.
