Using Big Data Analytics to Enhance Energy Sector

December 14, 2014 - FORCES Principal Investigator Shankar Sastry and Berkeley Ph.D. students Roy Dong and Lillian Ratliff joined C3 Energy scientist Henrik Ohlsson in presenting a full-day seminar on "Big Data Analytics for Societal Scale Cyber-Physical Systems: Energy Systems" to advance dialogue around technology development and encourage future research in the area. The seminar, held December 14, 2014, included six sessions that explored how cyber-physical systems impact the energy sector, with a particular focus on analytics, industrial needs, incentive design, security, and privacy.
