The Software Certification Consortium Workshop will present current ideas and results relevant to the certification of software based systems. A unique aspect of this workshop is the tight integration of views from regulators, industry and academia. The emphasis will be on how product-focused certification will be required to substantially enhance the dependability of high-integrity software based systems. Presentations will consider a variety of aspects that significantly affect the efficacy and safety of such systems. This will range from software specific details concerning process and tools, to psychologists’ views related to safer human computer interfaces.
