14th International Conference on Distributed Computing and Networking
Date: Jan 03, 2013 7:00 am – Jan 06, 2013 4:00 pm
Location: Mumbai, India
CDCN is a premier international conference dedicated to addressing advances in Distributed Computing and Communication Networks. Over the years, ICDCN has become a leading forum for disseminating the latest research results in these fields. As in the past, ICDCN 2013 will be organized in two tracks: Distributed Computing and Networking, and will comprise a highly selective technical program consisting of refereed concise papers, panel discussions as well as focused workshops on emerging topics.
Papers describing original research work and practical experiences/experimental results are solicited on topics including, but not limited to:
Distributed algorithms & concurrent data structures: design, analysis, and complexity
Integration of heterogeneous wireless & wired networks
Distributed operating systems
Internetworking protocols & Internet applications
Distributed database systems
Mobile and pervasive computing, context-aware distributed systems
Embedded distributed systems
Next generation & converged network architectures
Experiments and performance evaluation of distributed systems
Overlay & peer-to-peer networks and services
Fault-tolerance, reliability, and availability
Home Networking & Services
Multiprocessor & multi-core architectures & algorithms
Resource management & quality of service
Self-organization, self-stabilization, & autonomic computing
Network security & privacy
High performance computing, grid computing, & cloud computing
Energy-Efficient Networking & Smart Grids
Security, cryptography, & game theory in distributed systems
Sensor, PAN & ad-hoc networks
Traffic engineering, pricing, network management
Submission Instructions:
Submitted papers must not exceed 15 LNCS pages. The page limit includes title, abstract, figures and references. Additional details may be included in a clearly-marked appendix that will be read at the discretion of the program committee.
All papers must use at least 10-point Times Roman font and be formatted as per the “LNCS style”. Submissions deviating from these guidelines will not be reviewed. Accepted submissions will be published by Springer in the LNCS series. More details about LNCS formatting styles are available at: LNCS-Web.
Some papers not accepted as regular papers maybe accepted as "Concise papers" with 5 LNCS pages in the proceedings while full papers will be allowed 15 LNCS pages.
At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present the paper. Papers should be submitted via the EasyChair submission management System at:https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=icdcn2013. Selected papers from the Distributed Computing Track will be published in a special issue of Theoretical Computer Science (TCS). Selected papers from the Networking Track will be published in a special issue of the Elsevier Pervasive & Mobile Computing (PMC) journal.
