JAEWON "ARTHUR" SUNG

Arthur is a rising Junior from Seoul, South Korea studying Computer Science and Engineering Management. Though Korean, he has spent 7 recent years in Tennessee and has embraced Southern culture as a part of himself. His interest in research began in high school when he began exploring machine learning and neural networks. Years later, while discussing technology with some friends involved in Startups, Arthur began dreaming about a fully autonomous city. Professor Dan Work is currently working on solving traffic through autonomous vehicles, which was the exact direction of research he eagerly wanted to participate in.

Arthur will be working on the I-24 project with Professor Dan Work which analyzes traffic flow on the I-24 highway through cameras that span 6 miles. He is excited about this project that brings programming and transportation together.
