MARINA RIZK

Marina is an Electrical Engineering student who was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. She loves her field very much, and has a great interest in Robotics. Marina envisions doing deeper studies in Robotics and enhancing its usage in the medical field. She is also an athlete and has been involved in sports since she was 4 years old. She did gymnastics, judo, and is currently the Gulf South Conference record holder in pole vault. Marina loves travelling and visiting new places, and also likes video games.

This summer, Marina will be working on Dr. Akos Ledeczi’s research program, "Build Your Own Virtual Robot." This project will create a design environment, preferably for Virtual Reality, where we build and configure new robot vehicle designs from a variety of parts such as wheels, motors, sensors, and actuators.
