Georgia Tech - School of Cybersecurity and Privacy Open-Rank Tenure-Track Faculty Positions Cyber-Physical Systems Security
The School of Cybersecurity and Privacy (SCP), ranked #2 in Cybersecurity, builds on the strong foundation and continued success of the cybersecurity research, education, and service at Georgia Tech - School of Cybersecurity and Privacy. SCP consists of 25+ faculty working to fulfill a mission of "Building security in everything, for everyone, every day." We believe that societal problems require multidisciplinary solutions. Our faculty conduct research and teach topics in public policy, law, international affairs, engineering, and computing.
SCP seeks exceptional candidates in all areas of Cybersecurity and Privacy as well as candidates exploring emerging or interdisciplinary topics that push the boundaries of these fields. In addition to building an active research program in these areas, successful candidates will also teach undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as perform service roles across the school, the college, and the institute.
For this faculty hiring cycle, cyber-physical system security is one of the focus areas for us at Georgia Tech. The topic covers the security of cyber-physical systems, formal methods, robust control, assured autonomy, and trustworthy learning-enabled control systems. We also seek engineering candidates with domain-specific cybersecurity expertise. The CPS security hiring committee is chaired by Associate Professor Saman Zonouz (saman.zonouz@gatech.edu), who is jointly appointed by the schools of SCP and ECE and works on CPS security.
