NSF CISE Future CoRe Solicitation: CPS Foundations and Connected Communities Program Overview (*presentation slides NOW available herein)

The National Science Foundation's Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) program just completed an informational webinar (on August 28th, 2025) on the CPS: Foundations and Connected Communities program—part of the new NSF CISE Future Computing Research (NSF 25-543) solicitation.

This webinar introduced two new tracks that replaced the previous CPS and Smart & Connected Communities (SCC) programs:

  • CPS-FR: Foundational Research in Cyber-Physical Systems

  • CPS-CIR: Community-Inspired Cyber-Physical Systems Research
