CyPhy'14 brings together researchers and practitioners working on modeling, simulation, and evaluation of CPS, based on a broad interpretation of these areas, to collect and exchange expertise from a diverse set of disciplines.

Distributed Embedded Systems (DES) are rapidly becoming increasingly complex due to requirements on advanced functionality, with increasing amount and heterogeneity of the information that is exchanged. This high complexity imposes major development challenges when non-functional properties must be enforced, such as real-time response and adaptability.

The 2nd Mediterranean Conference on Embedded Computing (MECO 2013) is a continuation of very successful MECO-2012 event. The Workshop discusses new ideas and systematic methodologies to address these technical concerns, for revolutionizing the manner next-generation reliable medical systems are designed, manufactured, validated, and integrated.
