Abstract: Overall Objective. The goal of this project is to facilitate the timely retrieval of dynamic situational awareness information from field deployed nodes by an operational center in disaster recovery or search and rescue missions, which are typically characterized by resource-constrained uncertain environments.  Technology advances allow the deployment of field nodes capable of returning rich content (e.g., video/images) that can significantly aid rescue and recovery.

Abstract: Cyber-physical additive layer manufacturing, e.g. 3D printing has become a promising technology for providing cost, time, and space effective solution by reducing the gap between the designers and the manufacturers. However, the concern for the protection of intellectual property is arising in conjunction with the capabilities of supporting massive innovative designs and rapid prototyping.
