• Are there a set of basic functions and architectural elements common to all CPS?

You are invited to join us in answering these questions and charting the path to the future.

Domain-Specific Modeling workshop at SPLASHCON 20/21 October 2014, Portland, Oregon, USA http://www.dsmforum.org/events/DSM14/ The workshop welcomes submissions that address Domain-Specific Modeling on practical or theoretical levels. Our main focus is on graphical domain-specific languages but we will also consider submissions on textual or other DSLs. Some of the issues that we would like to see addressed in this workshop are:

Multi-Core and Many-Core systems for EMbedded Computing (MC)3 Special session in 23rd Euromicro International Conference on Parallel, Distributed, and Network-Based Processing (PDP 2015) This special session addresses all aspects of multi-core and many-core embedded systems design. It presents new ideas in the multi-core field such as theory and modeling, scalable and fault tolerant design approaches and frameworks, algorithms, software, tools and applications, analysis and comparison, design techniques and emerging implementations.

The National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) and Intel Labs recently announced a new partnership to support novel, transformative, multidisciplinary approaches that address the problem of securing current and emerging cyber-physical systems, the infrastructures they form, and those integrated with them.

During the MobiHoc2014 workshop on "Airborne Networks and Communications", there will be a student poster and demo session on "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles".  Students whose posters /demos are selected for presentation will be provided finanical support to attend the workshop. 3rd Workshop on Architecting Safety in Collaborative Mobile Systems (ASCoMS) The 3rd ASCoMS workshop takes place at SAFECOMP 2014 - with the purpose to gather industrial and academic experts with interests in architecting safety in collaborative mobile systems.
