9th International Symposium on Software Engineering for Adaptive and Self-Managing Systems The increasing complexity, distribution, and dynamism of many software-intensive systems, such as cloud-based, cyber-physical and mobile systems, are imposing self-managing capabilities as a key requirement. These systems must be able to adapt themselves at run-time to cope with the uncertainty associated with changes in the environment in which they operate, variability of resources, new user needs, intrusions, and faults.

  This is the 17th IEEE Computer Society symposium dealing with the rapidly expanding field of object/component/service-oriented real-time distributed computing (ORC) technology. The principal theme of ISORC is the use of the object, component, and service-oriented computing paradigms - which has prevailed in many non-real-time applications in the past decade - in a wide variety of real-time applications.

Distributed Embedded Systems (DES) are rapidly becoming increasingly complex due to requirements on advanced functionality, with increasing amount and heterogeneity of the information that is exchanged. This high complexity imposes major development challenges when non-functional properties must be enforced, such as real-time response and adaptability.

Design Methods for Automotive Systems and Software The automotive track has been created this year to bring together researchers and practitioners from the automotive domain with their counterparts from the embedded systems & software (ESS) domains.  This also includes those from the electronic design automation (EDA) space.

The 20th IEEE International Conference on Embedded and Real-Time Computing Systems and Applications (RTCSA 2014) will be held in Chongqing, China. 

Optimizations are crucial to meet the performance, power and cost requirements that DSP and embedded systems have. The aim of the ODES workshop is to give the opportunity to researchers and practitioners working on this, to share their findings and get feedback.

10th IEEE International Workshop on Factory Communication Systems Scope The WFCS workshop is the largest IEEE technical event specially dedicated to industrial communication systems. The aim of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers, practitioners and developers to review current trends in this area and to present and discuss new ideas and new research directions.

The Center for Model-based Product Development (MODPROD) is an inter-disciplinary research center at Linköping University. It revolves around model-based tools and methods for cyber-physical systems, mechanical systems, electronic systems and software, and unified approaches for model-based design. This workshop brings together expertise in these fields to discuss state of the art and the way ahead.
