Visible to the public The Open World Framework

Abstract

Today, 2 billion people are online creating e-content like the world’s never seen before. Within a decade this will possibly grow to over 6 billion, and today’s e-world will morph into a “communal well of creation”. A “watering hole” dominated by unstructured content and informal collaborative human networks. In this open world, it won’t be the data producers, but the social networks and the information analytics that will dominate how the e-domain creates, secures, warehouses, and distributes ubiquitous data and creates value for mankind.
