Apply for a Group Site

Any VO community member may apply to start a new electronic collaboration group (e.g. a new "community of interest", or a "workshop planning" website).  A group is requested by answering a few questions needed to initialize your group's services (e.g. the desired security/access policies for the group).  A template for the application form is provided as a Microsoft Word attachment below.

To get a group up started please fill out this application and return it to the Portal support1.  These applications are periodically reviewed and approved by an external advisory board.  Please indicate any relevant timing constraints or deadlines you may have in a note on the application.  

 


1 While emailing attachments aren't currently allowed when contacting the support group, you may simply cut and paste the contents of this completed application into the relevant section of the submission form.
