MECO-2014 Conference VENUE: Hotel Slovenska Plaza, Budva, Montenegro. DATES: 15-19, June 2014 ABOUT THE EVENT The 3rd Mediterranean Conference on Embedded Computing (MECO 2014) is a continuation of very successful MECO events (MECO 2012, MECO 2013). It is an International Scientific Forum aimed to present and discuss the leading achievements in the modeling, analysis, design, validation and application of embedded computing systems.

  This is the 17th IEEE Computer Society symposium dealing with the rapidly expanding field of object/component/service-oriented real-time distributed computing (ORC) technology. The principal theme of ISORC is the use of the object, component, and service-oriented computing paradigms - which has prevailed in many non-real-time applications in the past decade - in a wide variety of real-time applications.

Distributed Embedded Systems (DES) are rapidly becoming increasingly complex due to requirements on advanced functionality, with increasing amount and heterogeneity of the information that is exchanged. This high complexity imposes major development challenges when non-functional properties must be enforced, such as real-time response and adaptability.

The 20th IEEE International Conference on Embedded and Real-Time Computing Systems and Applications (RTCSA 2014) will be held in Chongqing, China. 

Optimizations are crucial to meet the performance, power and cost requirements that DSP and embedded systems have. The aim of the ODES workshop is to give the opportunity to researchers and practitioners working on this, to share their findings and get feedback.

10th IEEE International Workshop on Factory Communication Systems Scope The WFCS workshop is the largest IEEE technical event specially dedicated to industrial communication systems. The aim of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers, practitioners and developers to review current trends in this area and to present and discuss new ideas and new research directions.
